What you can do to help
Do you have time and/or talents to share?
Eventually we plan to have a trusty band of volunteers who might do all sorts of things. So far we've thought this might include:
- visiting people in there own home or in residential care - in partnership with Berkshire Age Concern
- gardening for those who can't look after their gardens as well as they'd like
- helping out with odd jobs
- doing a spot of shopping every now and again
- arranging social activities
- awareness-raising training for people working with older lesbians and gay men
