BOLGaF Newsletter, October 2006
Hello again, everyone, and welcome to this month's newsletter.
First, as BOLGaF settles back into our winter socials, the first ever Saturday Drop-In was held last month, at The Global Cafe, RISC, London Street, Reading. The event was a great success, with 11 people there including 2 new members (hello to Iain and Allen.) This will now become a regular event, as well as the usual Sunday Film Club, so that those of who can't make Sundays can hopefully come along on Saturday instead.
The dates of our Socials for November are as follows:
- Sunday 5th November: Film Club 2-5 in The Stones Room at the back of RISC. Then onto the pub for drinks & Sunday lunch.
- Saturday 18th November Drop-In 11.30 - 2.30 in The Global Cafe.
One more piece of news; Reading Pride is holding it's AGM on Thursday 23rd November at 7.30pm in Reading Civic Centre. As BOLGaF has membership of Reading Pride, you are all welcome to attend or, if you can't make it but would like me to raise a question on your behalf, just let me know & I'll be happy to do so.
